Returning Student Housing Contract 2024-2025

As HIU is a residential community, we expect every student to live on campus unless: they live at home with parents, they are married, they are 22 years of age, or they have served in the military. Any student violating these parameters is jeopardizing their academic and/or athletic scholarship(s). The University reserves the right to declare scholarships null and void for such violations.

Parking
Please indicate if you want an HIU parking pass. Any student bringing a car onto campus will need a parking pass in order to park in any of our HIU lots. If you indicate you would like a parking pass, you will receive an additional form to fill out before receiving your pass. Contact our Student Affairs Office, studentlife@hiu.edu, if you have any additional questions regarding parking.

Community Standard Agreement
All traditional undergraduate students of HIU are required to sign this Community Standard Agreement. By signing this agreement, students commit to pursuing the challenge of living a life defined by a higher standard and dedicated to biblical principles that reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ. Please submit a signed copy of this form to housing@hiu.edu.

I/We affirm that I/we have read the HIU Student Handbook, HIU Housing Guide, and HIU Housing Contract and understand that failure to comply with the terms and conditions listed may be grounds for disciplinary action, loss of athletic or academic scholarship, or eviction. When a student’s contract is revoked as a result of disciplinary action, it does not automatically release the student from financial obligations.
